Mobile, Mobile!

Ok, so since my last post, so much has happened, and it hasn't even been I full week (I think)!

New things Izzy can do:
* She can pull up on the tv stand now, and walk herself over to the book shelf.
* She has discovered the volume button on the sound system and LOVES making it loud!
* She is talking so much now....more babble but as of late her favorite one is dadadadada :O)
* She loves to scream....happy and mad, it's really funny!!
* She is now crawling!!! She can officially go at least 3 paces and sits back up....but she's got it!!
* She knows that when she's in the kitchen she can get up on the cupboards....
IT'S OFFICIALLY TIME TO BABY PROOF EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

She's soo full of personality and it's so awesome!!! She is amazing and I LOVE watching her grow and change each day!!!

As of Late

Well as of late, we've been keeping pretty busy at the Kappelman Home. We've been trying to keep up with Izzy. She's doing something new everyday! She's still not crawling, but the other day while I was in the shower, Ryan was playing with her on the bed, and she crawled 3 steps to get to his computer...I guess she wanted it that bad! She hasn't done it again since though. With time, the little booger will be ALL over!!

We're preparing to move into a different apartment, here soon. We're finally upgrading into a two bedroom! Oh, it will be so nice!!

Last Friday (7/30) Izzy had her 3rd well baby visit. She's now 17 lbs 7 oz (75th percentile) and 26 inches long (50th percentile). She cried with her shots again....but stopped when I picked her up! She did really well.

We went back again today, to find out she has thrush again. Her poor little lips are so red, they almost looked like they wanted to bleed....and of course she has the white stuff. But now she's on some meds and hopefully things will clear up soon! Other than that, nothing too eventful is going on! :O) Till next time!

Trying New Things....

Yesterday, just for fun, Ryan and I decided to introduce Izzy to a sippy cup to see how she would handle it. As it turns out, she did rather well. She was putting it in her mouth and trying to suck, so we added a little milk and with time, and practice, she'll get the hang of it! :O)
She also got a new board book from Aunt Brianne and she's learning VERY well!

Birthday Weekend

Well, today marks my 24th birthday. I suppose I should feel older, but I still feel the same!

As of late, Izzy is still trying very hard to learn how to crawl. She's still pulling up on things and loves to stand! She can't get enough of it.

Yesterday we went to the mall and walked around. It was WAY too hot to be outside...then ended the day with a nice dinner with a few friends and LOTS of birthday cake and treats!!

Iz, of course, stole all the attention, but that's MORE than ok with me! :O)

Look What I Can Do

Somebody is very ready to start crawling! We think in the next week or so she'll be all over!!

Today I pulled myself up on the jumparoo all by myself!! I'm a fearless little girl now!!

A new face Iz loves making. While she's doing it, she sucks air in and out really fast and it is just down right hilarious!!

Behind, Behind!

My apologies for not posting lately, I'm very behind! We've been so busy lately I just haven't had a ton of computer time to get things caught up!
To start: Our baby girl is now 6 months old!! She can now pull herself into a standing position in her crib (starting with laying down on her back), and she LOVES to pull up to standing when playing with someone on the floor. She does all the work too, you just hold your hands there and she will pull up! It's amazing to see.

Secondly: She loves talking too. She loves to say "Ma Ma, DaDa, BaBa", but I know she doesn't realize what she's saying just yet.

Thirdly: She's trying very hard to crawl. She can get up on her knees and gets kind of stuck. It's also super cute to watch too! The girl has turned into an extremely busy body and has to be moving ALL the time now! I think Ryan and I are in major trouble when she really starts to walk and crawl!! HAHA :O)

Fourth: She's still doing really well with eating. She's now starting two meals a day, and it's so far its a slow process, but we'll get there eventually! She's kind of picky with her veggies, so it's hard to pick!
